A strategic game plan utilising creative content across multiple channels to encourage students to See Sport Differently.
Welcoming a new cohort in 2018, UWA Sport required an annual brochure that would encourage students at all sporting levels to get active. Confident that those already interested in sport would engage with their services, UWA Sport were looking to connect with those a little less likely to get involved and encourage them to see sport differently.
Our design work for UWA Sport had to balance the established and prestigious UWA brand whilst resonating with the interests of young university students. Identifying a positive intersection between sport and academia, it became clear that the motivations of students carried across all activities. Taking this concept further, we designed a modern and confident brochure that immediately communicated the range of services available. Aligning with broader UWA brand elements, we designed a customised style guide, captured iconic hero photography and developed conceptual devices, giving UWA Sport their own powerful voice.
