FASD Hub Australia
We transitioned FASD Hub’s website to a scalable WordPress solution, enhancing accessibility, UX, and ensuring WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
OKMG was engaged by The Kids Research Institute Australia, with refreshing the FASD Hub website by moving the CMS away from Optimizely and into a WordPress build, addressing limitations while improving user experience and accessibility. The FASD Hub provides the latest evidence based resources and research about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) in Australia.
The project focused on building on the existing branding while providing a modern, user-friendly interface. As a content-heavy website, growing daily with new resources, the project objective was to design and develop a website with adaptable page and module templates, enabling the TKI team to easily manage content and create new pages.
Emphasising human-centred design, OKMG mapped out user journeys and implemented solutions that cater to both end users and administrative needs. By adhering to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard, OKMG ensured the site met all accessibility guidelines. OKMG closely managed the project, from discovery and design to development and post-launch support, ensuring a seamless transition with full client collaboration and approval.
The result is a robust, accessible and scalable asset that effectively serves relevant information to FASD Hub’s varied stakeholder groups.
